Daniel Dufresne graduated with a first degree in Mathematics
at Université de Montréal (1981) before working in actuarial
consulting (1981-1982). He did a PhD at the City University in London
(1982-1986), and then lectured at Université Laval in Quebec
City (1986-1988) and Université de Montréal (1988-1997,
1999-2003). He was Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Actuarial Studies
of the University of Melbourne in 1997-1999, and returned to the Centre
as Professorial Fellow in 2003. Daniel is a Fellow of the Society of
Actuaries.
