The Simulation |
This site has been established by the Economics Department of the University of Melbourne to provide teaching and learning resources for academic staff, current students and former students who are interested in the simulation of macroeconometric models. Many of the files which can be found here may be downloaded and used as 'templates' to reduce the amount of time it would take you to create an EViews or TSP simulation file or to solve a system for impact and long-run multipliers.
This site is maintained by Robert Dixon. Visitors are welcome (indeed encouraged) to download any items which may be of use to them. However we ask if you use this material that you acknowledge the source, which is the "Department of Economics at the University of Melbourne".
The resources deposited here have been divided into four groups.
1. The Language and Theory of Simulation
2. Numerical Methods for Solving Non-Linear Models
3. Simulation Files for EViews and TSP
4. Other Internet Sites Dealing with Simulation of Macroeconometric Models
