Prof Robert Dixon

Biography
Robert Dixon graduated with a PhD from the University of Kent in 1973. Upon graduating Robert became a lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Papua New Guinea in 1973 where he remained until 1977. In 1978 Robert became a Tutor and then Senior Tutor in the Department of Economics at The University of Melbourne. He was appointed Lecturer here in 1980, Senior Lecturer in 1983, Reader in 1987 and Professor in 2008.
